Two weeks, it’d been two weeks since they’d been in Hohiro’s home world. It was a couple of long, dull weeks, but there was lots to be done, including healing up a bit. Once they were back in the tower, Luna had healed almost instantly. Breeze on the other hand took a few days to feel like she was back up to her normal standard. That isn’t to say she wasn’t busy the first few days back as well, she’d graciously volunteered herself to help set Hohiro up with a new home, a new condo or apartment.
Breeze had gone to the outer wall of the courtyard outside of the tower, nearby to where the door to the hallway was. She’d put both her paws up and focused on that part of her that was Luna. Breeze stood there, focusing. This was her first time trying to conjure up one of these doors. Luna could do this instantly; in fact she was standing nearby letting Breeze give it an honest try. Breeze felt Luna walk up behind her, Luna’s stomach pressed against her wings and back. Breeze felt herself blush, “You’re going to distract me,” she chided.
“Nonsense, you’re almost there, I’m just giving you a little push,” Luna answered her. Breeze felt a warmth flow through the back of her paws to the wall, and a door was brought into being on the pristine white wall. The world on the other side of it was a blank canvas, ready to be turned into whatever environment Breeze wanted it to be. The door was colored, unlike the grayscale doors that were ready to connect to other worlds in the hallway, and Breeze pushed the door open. Before her stood a great white void, the only thing that existed in it was this door.
Breeze was about to start on her original plan, recreating Hohiro’s original apartment when he stopped her. He had been waiting patiently for her to get started, but he pushed a piece of paper into her paws. Breeze took it and looked it over, “This is the floor plan you want?” She asked as she looked over the paper. Breeze had been pretty sure if she’d be making something from memory it’d go a lot faster than trying to come up with something new. After Hohiro gave her an affirmation, Breeze informed him, “Okay, this may take a while then. I can get the general walls and floor laid out, and I’ll have to come back through to get the finer details in place. I hope that’s okay.” Hohiro gave her another confirmation, he’d always been so nice to her, even after all the stuff she’d put him through in his home world. She’d make it up to him, starting with his new place.
For the next week Breeze slaved away at putting Hohiro’s new apartment together. Breeze would never know it but creating this living space was just like how game design worked. She started with a block-mesh of sort, putting up walls, setting in doorways, and even creating an elevator for Hohiro. Breeze had spent half a day on the elevator and every time she tried to take it, she felt like she was going to be sick. Luna eventually gave her a hand with the elevator, upon her request. Breeze had to forget about the physics and electronics, and just ‘cheat’ the movement of the elevator.
After the first few days, Breeze started putting in the finer details of the apartment. She put in a working stove, a working fridge of sorts. These of course had their own cheats and shortcuts. The fridge was a small doorway that looked like a fridge door, that led to a “world of chill or cold”. The stove was a set of simple valves that connected to a “fire world”, on the outreaches of the world so that the flames would not come through to strongly. It worked just like a gas stove, and Breeze was pleased with the result. Hohiro had one request that she couldn’t seem to fill right away, which was a working source of electricity. Breeze had also long ago gotten plumbing and toilet issues figured out.
Breeze had a college level education, but it was more of a business major if anything. Breeze had to sit down for a lesson or two with Hohiro as he explained how different wires worked, how they were insulated, and how amperage and voltage worked. It took a while, but Breeze was able to eventually summon into being what could probably be the closest Luna-made-equivalent of a wire. Once she had the blueprint for this down, she then had to find a way to converting the electricity of a “power world” into something that Hohiro could use. A set of lessons later, and eventually she was able to create a conversion station that would work as a relay for Hohiro’s electronics. Breeze summoned a ‘power outlet’, it was really a small ‘door’ to the “power world”, and they tested out a sacrificial piece of equipment. Somehow there were no sparks, no fire, and no foul odors. In fact, the device that Hohiro had seemed to be working as intended.
This was over a week into their return to the tower, so Breeze took a couple of days off to rest. She lazed about her and Luna’s house, enjoyed cooking a couple of meals and even working on her baking skills, bringing Hohiro home made cookies. If he wasn’t careful, she was going to fatten him up. Breeze did take advantage of these moments to check up on how Hohiro’s house was coming along. She wanted to learn more about the tools he’d brought along with him, but figured she’d better give him some room. Breeze took a day to give Luna’s room under Omega some special attention as well. There wasn’t dust to clean in the void per say, but she made sure to clean off everything she could, giving it a good polish. Using a bit of the power Luna gave her, Breeze summoned different sets of flowers, trying her best to match them to each gravestone, laying them down for each one. Luna hadn’t told her a lot about her old companions yet, but Breeze felt it was her duty to honor them the best she could and give them the same love that Luna had given her.
On the thirteen-day, Breeze was getting stir crazy. While the tower was quite expansive, there wasn’t a whole lot to do besides hang out with Luna and Hohiro. Breeze had made a shelf where she put one of the flowers from the roof of the building where they’d left Hohrio’s world, was sitting in a vase. She knew it’d wilt eventually, but for now it’d be her one and only keepsake. While she was enjoying Luna and Hohiro’s company, even playing the occasional board game (Hohiro seemed to know a lot of them by heart, which made it easy to recreate), she was really wanting to see another new location. An idea popped into her head, and Breeze asked if they could check out the MIDU Mall again and see if it was open. To her dismay, it was still closed for renovations. Breeze wished they’d hurry up, according to Luna they had the ability to convert currency which would make travel so much easier. Guess they’d just have to go next time.
After two weeks, Breeze was serving dinner to Luna and Hohiro. Breeze had taken a bit of time to spruce up the outside of her and Luna’s cabin, giving it less of a cardboard feel, and more like a natural outside setting. Breeze set down the food and hesitantly asked them both. “Are you two ready to go to another world? Go on a new adventure?” The plates contained turkey, mashed potatoes, buttered rolls, and there was a bowl of salad.

Two weeks since they left Hohiro's interesting but seemingly dangerous world. Luckily within a few minutes of being back home her avatar was back up to full strength. There's no place like home after all, even if that home is mostly empty void. Speaking of which she could tell that it probably took Hohiro a bit to adapt to the void which is understandable, most beings do tend to take a little bit to adjust even with Luna trying to make it more habitable with silence removal and more importantly air.
Later when Breeze was trying to make a space for Hohiro to live Luna decided to let Breeze try summoning a door and she was pleasantly surprised at how close she got, but she could feel it slipping so she helped out just a bit (and had a bit of fun teasing as well). After that Luna told Breeze that if she needs any more help to just ask and if she couldn't find her to just ask Omega and he'll relay a message. Before Luna left to go do other things, she did give Hohiro a warning. "Don't go into the other hallway doors or you might get lost. And especially avoid entering doors with mist seeping through or cracked doors as you likely won't make it back out." She warned, her normal happy go lucky expression changing to a very serious 'I'm not joking' look which lightens up a bit as she watches Breeze get to work.
Over the course of the first few days there were other Fox-like creatures that looked almost identical to Luna except they had pure white fur instead of Luna's coloring, they wouldn't identify themselves to Hohiro and mostly just told him things like 'It would be best for Luna to explain who we are' and 'I don't wish to confuse you, Luna would explain it better' and after those first few days the white foxes seemingly made themselves scarce. Though Luna also seemingly made herself a bit scarce as she had a few things she needed to check on. Luna stood in the hallway of doors as she thinks about where her first stop is and after finding it her eyes glow and it looks like the doors fly past her as she travels very quickly to the first place on her list.
Luna put her paws on the door handle and opened, opening up to a concrete room with a large computer on the other side that has a large strange looking pad connected to it that has a five and a half foot tall swirling light oval on top. Luna reaches over and wiggles the mouse and taps a few keys on the keyboard making the screen hum to life. She looks up, her happy go lucky look gone, replaced with a more average and serious look, though that too quickly faded as she reads the text on screen.
[ Pattern defragmentation process: 13% ] [ Elapsed time: 9999/12/31 | 23:59:59 ] [ Time remaining: calculating . . . ] Luna sighed and turned back, leaving the computer to it's processes once again. Luna stepped back into the hallway and with a blur shot further down the hallway, heading to her next destination. Next up of which was another seemingly small room, this time made of a stone like material. On the other side of the room lay a huge swirling purple portal looking vortex and throughout the room lay five white crystals all shooting a beam of light that all align in the center of the vortex. Not much can be done here so Luna leaves with another sigh as this too apparently was not finished it's job, whatever that job may be.Luna keeps this up for quite a while, going form place to place all with something on the other side, each time with a varying level of completion. And eventually she heard a message from Omega"So how's it going?" the calm male voice asks in Luna's head"Poorly, though you should be very much aware of that..." Luna responds"Yes, I am, though I am trying to be nice as I know these will all bother you until they're complete" Omega responds again calmly"I..." Luna starts before changing her mind on what to say "Why are you contacting me anyway?""Breeze wishes to speak to you, something about an elevator issue. She looked very... Green. And if my memory serves me correctly she's not supposed to be that color." Omega joked attempting to lighten the mood."let her know I'll finish up what I'm doing and be there shortly" Luna says as she reaches for the door, before hesitating for a moment.the last stop before heading back was in a sterile, metal hallway. Luna walked down it and through some sliding doors that make a pleasant futuristic whoosh noise and into a small cubical room with darker metal walls. A few moments later a mechanical hum starts up as a red glowing square made from lasers starts to lower from the ceiling. Luna pulls out and raises a red crystalline chip of sorts raising it above her head and waits. The lasers reach the crystal and stop on it for a moment before the whole thing shuts off and they raise back into the ceiling."Ah, Luna we weren't expecting you, sorry" The voice over the intercom says"It's fine, you know why I'm here." Luna says, still melancholy"of course, right this way" the intercom's voice says again as the opposite door opens. Luna knew this route off by heart, she walked through the corridors and eventually ends up in front of a room with a label[Extensive care ward #441] Luna stepped into the familiar room, it looked very much like a hospital room but the bits and bobs on the shelves and tables didn't catch Luna's attention at all. She was laser focused on the singular pod style bed on the opposite side of the room. She stood beside the bed and looked into the window of it and sure enough the familiar face of a deer person lay sleeping inside. She looks for the small orange button with the microphone on it and again hesitates for a moment before placing a finger on it and holding it down."How are you doing?" Luna asks and pauses for a few moments "I've been... keeping myself busy. I met someone new a while back a couple actually but I'm talking about one in particular, I think you two would get along great. Her name is Breeze" Luna says with a chuckle. A few moments of painful silence happen "I am keeping my promise by the way, I still haven't given up on you." Luna says pausing again for a moment, this time to think "I'm sure that you'll be out of there any cycle now..." she adds with a forced smile. "but... should go though, Breeze needed some help with something and... and I don't want to keep her waiting." Luna says, her forced happy voice kinda faltering "It was nice to visit you again though, once you're out of there I'll have to catch you up on everything you missed" she adds with another forced smile "a..anyway though I'll see you around, I know you'd want me to keep myself busy and all that" Luna said with a chuckle before releasing the microphone button and sitting back on the chair beside the deer's medical pod. Luna remains there for a few minutes longer and then reads their chart. Nothing new. She lingers for a few moments longer before hanging it back on the pod and then getting up and walking out with a singular phrase from that chart stuck in her head.
Patient stay duration: 18 universal cycles Luna made her way back through the facility and out through her door back into the hallway, she walked for about a minute or so to clear her thoughts before she speeds forward back to the tower end of her hallway. She heads in through the huge double doors that lead from the hallway to the large cylindrical white room with her grey stone brick tower directly in the center that stretches upwards seemingly forever. Luna walks from the hallway door to the outside of the tower where Hohiro's door is currently and reaches for the handle before stopping, closing her eyes, taking a deep breath and opening the door, her smile back like nothing happened.
Breeze indeed needed help with the elevator and she can see why, Breeze was trying to make an elevator from scratch which is way too complicated. "No no, here, allow me to show you a trick" Luna says with a chuckle and cheats the elevator. It still goes up and down, but there's no electronics to it, it's all smoke and mirrors. Once they get some physical materials they'll probably be able to get an actual elevator in there but for now this will do. On the panel of the elevator Luna puts three buttons [Upper], [Lower] and a smaller one in the corner that has a little drawing of Breeze's face on a wooden house. And with a bit of concentration Luna creates a tunnel from Hohiro's void bubble to Breeze's and her's. "This one will take him to our cabin, I just put it outside in a elevator sized shed looking building." Luna explains "it also has a lock on our end for privacy reasons, that button won't even work if we have it locked." she adds with a wink. "Though come now..." Luna says poking the Breeze faced button "...you've worked hard you should take a break, even if it's only a short one" Luna says with a tail swish. In all honesty she wasn't 100% sure if Breeze actually needed a break or not but some company would be nice.Over the next few days Luna was alternating between being around the tower and out doing more of what she was doing the first week one of the days however she feels something she thought she'd never feel. The door to her private rooms opening without her doing it, none of the others should be around, Hohiro still isn't allowed in the main tower chamber which would leave... Luna sneaks out after a few moments and follows the sound of footsteps down the stairs, past the other hidden rooms and into the place where she figured the individual was going. She snuck through the open door and her suspicions were correct, it was Breeze but 'what was she doing here?' Luna thought to herself as she watches Breeze. Being here was hard for Luna considering what she was surrounded by but her curiosity kept her firm as she remained hidden and watched as Breeze polished the graves of her own former companions and even placing some flowers for each one. Luna carefully but quickly snuck out unnoticed and went straight to their cabin leaving both doors open as to show that Luna saw. Eventually Breeze came back to Luna standing in the middle of the cabin with a very happy and emotional look on her face. No words were said but none were needed as Luna walked forward and embraced Breeze with tears in her eyes, it was crystal clear how much this gesture of Breeze's made to Luna. And it meant quite a lot. From that point Luna made a mental note of where she left off and decided to stay home for a while. After a few days of relaxing in their home Luna's nose wiggled as she smells the scent of Breeze cooking again, but this wasn't just any cooking... it was more cookies! This made Luna's tail wag and mouth water as she watches from the railing upstairs, peeking through the bars at floor level. It seemed after a bit of staring it finally caught Breeze's attention as Luna watches Breeze look around and then finally spot the 'hidden' fox with a big smile, a swiftly wagging tail and bright eyes that say 'please? :3' causing a chuckle out of her companion as she gets back to cooking. By the end of the second week of idle stuff, food, board games and one trip to see that the MIDU Mall was still closed for renovations. Luckily one of the others checked out the status of their progress and it looks like they'll be finished relatively soon, though they still had quite a bit of time to kill, definitely enough for a trip to somewhere else first. Luna relaxed back in the chair as Breeze set the last of the stuff down and asked“Are you two ready to go to another world? Go on a new adventure?”"Yeah definitely, we'd need to decide on what kind of place to go first though. Any ideas where you two would wanna go?" Luna explains then asks, she didn't care where they went as long as it was interesting and exciting.
Though... Maybe not quite the same exciting as Hohiro's world.

It was all very strange. The moment the door shut behind him, it dawned on Hohiro that this place would be nothing like anyplace he had been before. The white sterile walls dotted with wooden doors trimmed in gold interspersed with various wolf-people and fox-people shaped statues should have been the first clue. However, for Hohiro, it was the complete lack of a network. Having spent almost all of his adolescent and adult life connected in some way to the Matrix in at least a subconscious way, the lack of any "noise" inside his head was.... disturbing. Which gave him time to just think of random things to distract himself... Like why did these two dragons choose to look so much like a wolf and a fox anyway?
"If you want," Breeze said from his right, "I can help get you started with a place to stay." Hohiro breaking away from his thoughts before he could give it consideration, turned and bowed to her. "Ah. Yes. Thank you." He followed her as she led him to what he assumed was the "outside" of the tower. It was a very impressive tower with no visible top. Breeze stood in front of a wall and placed her hands on it. Hohiro realized that she would be using some of her magic to make him a home. Of course... how else did dragons have dragon dens except by using magic to create them however they want. He shook his head and turned to scrounge around in his crates until he found some paper and a pen. He turned his attention to creating a floor plan that he would enjoy. At some point, Luna had arrived and seemed to be helping Breeze with her task. He had noticed her arrival, but knew that she wasn't there for him. He had just finished his draft for the basic floor plan when Luna approached him. His blueprint didn't even take into account things like where to place a kitchen sink, but it would do to get started.
"Don't go into the other hallway doors or you might get lost. And especially avoid entering doors with mist seeping through or cracked doors as you likely won't make it back out." She warned. He nodded. Dragons would value their privacy as much or more than he did. And he was certain that there would be defenses in place, just like he'd had in his old place. "Thank you," was all he said. Before Breeze could finish basking in the glory of her accomplishment, Hohiro approached her and held out his floor plan. Breeze took it and looked it over, “This is the floor plan you want?”
He nodded. "It's a bit hasty, but it'll leave room for expansion later if I need it, I think." Breeze replied, “Okay, this may take a while then. I can get the general walls and floor laid out, and I’ll have to come back through to get the finer details in place. I hope that’s okay.” "That's fine. That'll let me personalize the inside. Since I'll have the time, I'll go start working on some internal layouts. Thank you again for your help." Over the next week, room by room, Hohiro created layouts for how he wanted each room set up. He started with the Kitchen layout and the "public" side of his house first as Breeze worked to figure out the elevator problem. Until the bedroom was ready, he slept on the floor and kept his stuff in the back, near where the elevator down would was set to be. Eventually, Breeze asked Luna for help. Hohiro couldn't help but get the sense that Luna was uncomfortable with Hohiro's presence. Not hostile, obviously. She just seemed to keep interactions with him to a minimum. He respected her wishes. After all, he was the interloper in her home. As the week progressed, Hohiro's home started to take shape. He had been slightly taken back by the fact that electricity as he knew it didn't seem to exist in this area. He was assured that he would have a dedicated power source for his home. Technically, two since his basement wasn't, in reality, connected in a real sense to his first floor. As such, each floor he had, or made in the future, would each have their own power supply. Which, to Hohiro, seemed like a very good idea anyway. Though... that made him concerned as to how he'd network his floors together. Eventually, that problem was solved in a similar way to his elevator problem. Essentially, a pair of small "holes" in the walls connected the two floors via fiber optic cabling. Which allowed him to place access points on the first floor. One in the living room area, and one in his bedroom. These connected to the four in his basement area and the main server he set up in a specially climate controlled room similar to the way his fridge worked. The climate controlled room was definitely larger on the inside than what he'd originally planned... but that also gave him room to create more servers without needing to worry about tearing down any walls in the near future. When his new home's construction was finished, he spent the next two days organizing and setting up his various workbenches. Breeze's magic could do some impressive things, but there were just a few tasks that seemed to small and fine for her to be able to accomplish. He'd have to build or repair the arms for his cybernetics bench by hand, for instance.
Occasionally, Breeze would stop by to continue helping him. He explain what each of the workbenches that he'd had her set up do. He wasn't sure how much she actually understood, as there were a few times it seemed like her eyes glazed over a bit. But that was fine. She made excellent chocolate chip cookies and a tasty gumbo, so all could be forgiven. For the next few days, he set up his personal matrix. There was no external connections, but at least it was a familiar feeling. And he had plenty of materials to read thanks to all the drives he was able to salvage from the wreck that had been his old home. It was a rather time consuming task organizing everything in his home the way he wanted it. But it came with it's own satisfaction. Eventually, though... he ran out of things to actually organize. He had cataloged everything he owned. He was short of many materials, so he could not even do any tinkering. He would need to find a way to ask Luna how he would go about gathering them. He doubted that she just had a store in her tower he could go to buy things.... Then Hohiro realized another issue. The money he had on him was worthless here. He had finally gleaned enough from conversations between Breeze and Luna over dinner that he was no longer on his home planet... The thought of being on some other world was strange. But, pragmatically speaking, there wasn't any place on his old world that he was attached to anyway... Which meant that he had would need to think on what to do if they decided to travel to another world that needed money. Breeze and Luna might be use to it, since that's exactly what happened when they traveled to his world, but it was a unique issue for him. In the end, he decided that he would just find an odd job to do... or scavenge for something tradable. Assuming that he'd even be able to understand the language of wherever they went. While he thought of himself as decent at languages, he knew he was no where near being a true polyglot. Maybe he had a book on his hard drives somewhere that he could take with him that could help him decipher new languages easier.... More problems for future Hohiro to deal with. Present Hohiro was too busy drooling over the turkey dinner being laid out in front of them. Breeze asked, “Are you two ready to go to another world? Go on a new adventure?” "Yeah definitely, we'd need to decide on what kind of place to go first though. Any ideas where you two would wanna go?" Luna replied. Hohiro thought for a few moments and replied, "Since I have no experience with this kind of traveling, I will leave the destination to you. I only ask that, if possible, can it be a place where we can get some materials? Things like refined metals. Unless someone has a forge somewhere to work with raw metal..."

Some days had passed since Archangel had left Hohiros world and had recovered from his torn state. He had been anything but relaxed in that time as a single day was all that he spent recovering his bodily form and catching up with the inhabitants of his personal sanctum. He spent the next day learning the changes that had been made to his mission during his absence; some breakthroughs had been made in detecting worlds that were on the path to be destroyed and a front consisting of a few dozen realms had repelled the Destroyers, which set the horrific creatures back. Archangel was relieved to hear that their work was bearing fruit; even though realms needed to die to make way for new growth these creatures were more akin to an invasive species than the reliable cleaners of the realm biosphere.
After he was up to snuff on the information regarding his side mission he spent five days of local time in his home realm. The virus continued to ravage the world despite the creation of a suitably potent vaccine and constant urging to utilize it. Thankfully the living dead hordes had been culled by the Hunters and the mad Necromancer behind that particular strain of the virus had been given over to the tender mercies of their Inquisitors. A new push in the Gaia-Centric factions of the Fera had been gaining significant ground over the last handful of weeks. The young pups seemed to have a better grasp on the incredible power of social media to push people to change than the grizzled old war veterans that were their elders. Archangel was on board with anything that made the job of his family less dangerous and easier even if the Garou had much ground to cover in repairing relations with their brother and sister Fera.
The leeches were suprisingly quiet while he was gone which was a plesant surprise. The Second Inquisition had made their entire parasitic empire unanimously remember why they keep the Masqurade and, outside of the Hunters killing the occasional ambitious Neonate, the Canadian Cainites had kept to themselves. Outside of the politics of the other Supernaturals, and the ever predictable squabbles of the Sleepers, Archangels fellow Mages had been quite industrious in his absence. The Traditions had taken out a cell of the diabolic Nephandi that had wriggled like maggots into the flesh of Toronto and the Technocrats had removed a rampaging Maurader from existance in Afganistan. While cleaning up the trash of the world was the only thing the two major Mage factions agreed the ever burning war between the two continued to simmer.
Somehow a group of Tradition Mages had pushed the concensus towards accepting the use of healing amythests for common aches in spite of the Technocrats publishing no less than two peer reviewed scientific papers debunking that exact conclusion. At least the petty squabbles of the Mages were put aside for the survival of the Sleepers with the onset of the virus and the climate crises. No full blown bloodshed had broken out in the Mortal world in over a year; even though the wars in other planes raged bloodily on and the factions swiped at each other just as much as the days they drew blood in the streets.
Caught up on the news of his world Archangel spent the other four days working and keeping up appearances lest his organization lose funding. After those five days in his home realm Archangel returned to his personal realm to find the tracker he had given Luna was still picking up the faintest of signals. He well recognized that a faint transmission from the device likely meant the murderously thick wards surrounding his sanctum and Lunas were dampening the tracker. For them only three days had passed even though Archangel didn't know that directly and in any case he had some time to burn. What a better time to make some progress on his newest project that he had gotten from Hohiros world.
She awoke to find herself suspended in a large glass cylinder filled with some thick liquid substance that looked similar to honey. She could not speak as her mouth was full of some rigid tube to allow the passage of nutrients and liquids into her body. Her nose was encased in some device that filled her nose and allowed for the exchange of fresh air to her lungs. She could not see but could certainly feel some sort of device inserted into her to collect her solid waste and another device to collect her liquid waste. From the few moments of utilizing her senses the woman could tell that she was in some sort of container specifically built to keep her alive conscious or not. She found that her normally strong limbs were completely unresponsive in this liquid and she was faced with the realization that what the substance she was suspended within was numbing her limbs. Her eyes darted in growing fear until they came to rest on the familiar face of a man with thick rimmed glasses, chocolate hazel eyes, a trimmed goatee and matching ginger mane. Were her limbs usable she would have thrashed in such rage this tube would have burst into glass shards. Something black with power within her body roiled and raged for release on this man; desperately wanting revenge on the horrible creature that destroyed its last manifestation. It could not leave the body of the woman as the glass was warded against its kind.
Archangel looked at the form of one of his old friends, a lithe woman of athletic build, ample bust and bottom, long strawberry blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes, a medical gown for her modesty and the pallid green skin that revealed the sickness within her. Archangel shook his head and spoke to her, "Good afternoon Hannah. I can feel the hatred of both you and the parasitic creature bound within your flesh from here. You'll find that tube and the substance within is more than enough to keep your incredible powers, and the powers of the demon within you, equally supressed. I am truly sorry for what happened to you and I wish I could have helped. I couldn't find you before after what happened but since you thrust yourself back into my life I will mend my previous failures. I can only hope that once you are healed you will be able to forgive me." With that he began to work on one of the many terminals connected to the tube in the large, mostly sterile room save for one portion brimming with plants. Hannah was a prisoner in all but name at the moment and Archangel wanted her stay to be as comfortable as possible while retaining the safety of his lab and process.

Breeze considered what Hohiro proposed, a place to get materials, and refined ones at that. Sitting down at the table, she plated some food for herself before passing on the dish to Luna, and took another dish from Hohiro as he passed it to her. “I think that’d be doable, but I’d like to go someplace where there are people to interact with. We could easily make a world that gave us unlimited resources, but I don’t think that’d be any fun, to, sterile, you know?” Breeze suggested as she finished piling her plate. She noticed that she had taken more food than Luna or Hohiro again. In all the spare time she had the last couple of weeks, she’d been practicing her flying, and trying to strengthen her wings, it must’ve taken a lot of energy to get as far as she had. Admittedly, Breeze was a little excited to really stretch her wings in the next world and show just how far she’d gotten with it.
As for her magic, the other power that came from her connections with Luna and Hohiro, she’d had zero success in getting to practice with it. Every time she tried to conjure fire, she could only summon Luna’s flames to her finger tips. It was a little frustrating, but it made a little sense since there was some overlap and they were in Luna’s domain. Once they were in the next world, Breeze would get to practice some more. The connections that tied her to Archangel and the Architect pulsed agonizingly weak. It seemed the further the distance, the harder they were to maintain. Breeze wondered to herself, if that had to do with the fact they were separated by dimensions, or if actual distances could cause issues too.

"...can it be a place where we can get some materials? Things like refined metals. Unless someone has a forge somewhere to work with raw metal..."
“I think that’d be doable, but I’d like to go someplace where there are people to interact with. We could easily make a world that gave us unlimited resources, but I don’t think that’d be any fun, to sterile, you know?”
"Yeah, while it would be pretty easy to find a world made completely out of metals and other resources that would be a bit boring." Luna said taking a bite out of the food that Breeze gave her. As always it tasted delicious, she knows she could easily clear the plate and keep going but she decided not too since while she doesn't need to eat currently the other two did. Luna kept eating for a bit in silence until her mind came up with an idea, she gulps down the food she got in her mouth and turns to her canine companion "Hey Breeze, I have an idea" Luna says with a smile "seeing as how you have a good idea of a place you wanna go... Why don't you try linking a door this time?" Luna says excitedly, her tail swishing behind her making her emotions clear.

The days passed for Archangel like a hazy dream as he worked between the woman in the tube and tinkering with his equipment; while his gauntlets were marvels of technology he still was able to find improvements to be made. He additionally took the time to check up on the inhabitants of his Sanctum. Archangel had already made a quick and bloody trip to speak with his head surgeon and her nurses, his biologist team and a few of the visitors from the other Sanctums. He was saving checking up on Greta until last as he had to have a conversation with her about her behaviour on his last mission.
Archangel entered the thick jungle glade, dodging the locals during his approach, as he neared the pair of trees that served as Greta's home. As he appreoached the base of the thick tropical tree a small monkey coated in golden hair bounded down towards the man. It landed on his shoulder and turned it's black skinned face towards him before chittering into his ear. He chuckled before saying to the small thick maned creature, "I'm glad to hear. Is Greta about? I have to speak with her." The Tamarin chittered again before bounding up the tree. A few moments passed before a slightly smaller golden haired animal bounded to the now empty shoulder.
Greta looked to Archangel and began to chitter madly before he lifted his finger to silence her. "I don't blame you for what happened Greta. We have to have a conversation about you entering the Quik TripTM pocket in the back of my jacket however. I understand you missed me but I had specifically told you to stay home whilest weaning your newest child. You're lucky I was able to diffuse the situation with Hohiro non-violently." Archangel's face softened as he broke from speaking for a moment whilest Greta's face was that of a scorned child who had been caught red-handed. A note of downcast appeared in Archangel's eyes before he continued, "I don't mean to demean you Greta just.... you're smarter than this. I know you are. Listen if you want to come with me on an adventure I'll give you the chance. Your youngest is fully weaned now so you can accompany me on the next mission I leave for. I expect you to keep yourself groomed and prepared until the call goes out." With that Archangel grinned and let Greta bound happily back into the trees. He spun on his heels and left the depths of the jungled area to return to his projects.

"Hey Breeze, I have an idea" Luna said with a smile "seeing as how you have a good idea of a place you wanna go... Why don't you try linking a door this time?"
Breeze considered this for a moment, “I think that’d be pretty cool, I’ve been getting pretty good at bringing the doors up. I’m comfortable trying to link a door.” Breeze was already thinking of what kind of a world she’d like to explore. “When can we leave then?” she asked before digging into her food.

"yeah, you have been. I can't wait to see how you do" Luna says with a smile, her tail still swishing back and forth behind her "though, we should probably finish lunch first. Don't wanna travel on an empty stomach" she adds with a chuckle before also digging in.
Eventually dinner wrapped up and the group headed out into the empty courtyard and into the hallway proper and after a quick hop forward thanks to Luna and they find themselves standing in front of the next grey door. Luna looks to Breeze and smiles, she hopes that she'll be able to do it on her own but if needed she'll be happy to help.

"Yeah, you have been. I can't wait to see how you do" Luna answered Breeze with a swishing tail, "though, we should probably finish lunch first. Don't wanna travel on an empty stomach." With that, the three of them finished up their dinners, and Breeze considered what kind of a place would be perfect for where they were going. She didn’t have anything in particular in mind, but hopefully by the time they got to a doorway she’d know.
As they entered the hallway, Breeze made sure to grab a bag she’d made. It was still simple in design, Breeze was teaching herself to sew anyway, but it held a couple of cloaks and enough food for a day or two for all three of them. As they got in front of the empty doorway, Breeze was pulling her cloak on. This time, hopefully it’d be a bit more fireproof.
Breeze looked to Luna and asked, “So, connecting to a world is different than pulling up a door. I’ve felt it in the spark whenever you’ve done it. Is there any way that you do it in particular?”
Luna seemed to consider this for a moment, it was something that probably came so naturally to her, “Imagine the destination in your mind, what kind of place you wish to go to. Keep it clear in your mind... Now push your energy through the door, directing it's path like it's a vine traveling through space. Be careful, it'll try to stray and veer off in random directions but with enough concentration you should be able to keep it on track. Finally, when door and destination are connected, the door will be ready!” Luna said, her voice raising to one of excitement at the prospect of a new world to go to. “Oh, also, the vine is just a metaphor for the connection between the door and the world, imagine it however you’d like to."
Breeze stared the door down for a couple of seconds and raised her paws up to it. Pushing the spark up to the surface of her skin, she concentrated hard on where she’d like to go. Someplace with resources, someplace that wouldn’t kill them all instantly, but maybe has a world to explore and people to meet. Take us someplace interesting, not boring. There was a flash before Breeze’s eyes, and when the light cleared and she could see clearly again, the door had been filled in with color. The door was ready to be opened. Breeze had done it all on her own.

Luna watched with bated not-breath as Breeze placed her paws on the door. It took a few moments but after a few seconds the grey door slowly starts gaining it's mahogany coloring, spreading out from Breeze's paws through the wood of the round top double doors. Looking over at Breeze Luna could even see the hints of her own energies light twinkling in Breeze's eyes. How quickly she's learning... it makes Luna proud and happy to see Breeze doing this on her second or third try. Luna also can feel the overflow of something from higher up, an emotion? A feeling of satisfaction. The thought to ask about it pops into her head but she gets distracted as the final touches of the door take hold, the dull grey metal bits turning a bright gold and the mechanical gears of the clock above the door adjusting to the universe it's connected to, changing to the current age of said universe. And with the light blue hands stopping she looks back to Breeze with a big smile on her face "You... you did it!" Luna said happily embracing her wolven companion "I don't have the words to say how proud I am of you."
Luna held the hug for a few more moments before pulling back a bit "Though mind if I take it from here? Just on the off chance that something bad happens I don't want you getting hurt is all" Luna says trying to reassure Breeze that she's just looking out for her safety. And after Breeze agrees Luna heads over to the door, places her paws on the knobs and opens it a crack... Waits a moment before opening it a bit more after feeling nothing. Looking through Luna sees a purple and ...Starry? Staticy? a fuzzy purple sky and not much in terms of ground
"uhh... huh, well it definitely leads somewhere." Luna says as she sticks a finger through, holds it there for a moment and brings it back "Non-hostile atmosphere." Luna continues as she moves her face closer and sticks the tip of her muzzle through the door and sticks her tongue out. She recoils and shakes her head slightly while licking the roof of her maw for a few moments before saying "There's breathable air there too, though word of warning it does taste a bit like TV static" Luna says with a chuckle. "The only issue I see is the only landmass I see from here is a large purple looking thing off to the side. In all likelihood the door probably just materialized on the side of a cliff or building or something like that." Luna explains pointing a bit diagonally right from the door to the large dark purple thing sticking out of the wall the door is attached too. "There's probably more land either around, up or down once we get into the place but we won't know which way to travel until we get in there so we gotta make a bit of a jump first. Shouldn't be too bad though since I know I can, I know Breeze can fly and you look pretty fit yourself Hohiro." Luna says adding "Though a running start wouldn't hurt either" with a chuckle.
"Either way though, as soon as you two are ready we can quite literally jump into a new world" Luna says again with a small chuckle. After a moment of quiet Luna goes "huh, That's odd..." as she looks up at the clock. Looking closer the clock reads 3/1/1 at about 8:30. "the half past eight makes the sky make sense, being morning and all but the date shows it's the beginning of day three. Like period. Day three of month one of year one." Luna says scratching her chin "it should still be fine though, not all universes take millions of years to form life, some are even created with life already there." Luna explains before adding "The multiverse is a strange and wonderful place."

The darkness was all-encompassing. A mortal set of eyes would only be able to discern the faintest of lights flickering gently from a single dark monitor which illuminated a stern and tooth-clenched face of one Archangel. Some indiscernable symbols shifted in the hundreds before his eyes, if one could even equate them to the eyes of a man. Where normally a pair of white orbs with hazel iris sat now some shifting solid gray coloured balls completely unlike the organs of normal creatures now resided. They seemed to twist and shift gently with the light as Archangel tapped at some scarcely lit keys on a keyboard of alien symbols. His strange eyes began to emit a low hum as suddenly his left guntlet beeped and a bright yellow light burst forth from an LED on the device. Archangel nodded before typing a few more lines, turning and leaving into the unnatural darkness.
Some time later an entirely normal Archangel was pocketing a few last objects as an extatic blur of golden fur plummeted from the trees to land beside the man. "Glad to see you're bright eyed and ready on time Greta," he said with a chuckle as she chittered something in response. He grinned as he lifted the small Tamarin to his shoulder. She had done quite what he had asked as her fur was immaculate, styled to be out of her way and braided on either side of her head. On her body was a small bandolier studded with what looked like marbles full of some sort of various liquids. "Their signal just appeared, as faint as it is. Don't worry I'll be able to bring us into the realm they have entered and once we're there tracking them should be simple enough." Archangel had found his way with his passenger to the gates of his Sanctum while he was speaking. Greta chittered something into his ear as the first blast door swung wide before them. "I imagine he will be there yes little one. I have a little gift for him that should make his understanding of you more streamlined. You'll be able to make up with him worry not...," he stopped as she chittered something that made him burst out with laughter. He continued, "... Maybe you will get to try that one out you little rascal." With that the pair found themselves in the foyer beyond Archangel's sanctum. Archangel took the tiny hand of Greta before his gauntlet began to hum for a few moments. The two then dissolved like a dying hologram into a puff of pure white energy.
After a short venture through the unimaginable darkness of the void between worlds the great bolt of energy found itself passing through the barrier of a brand new world. Forming in a hip deep pool of water sat between rolling hills of grassy plains stood Archangel and Greta. Archangel took a breath before looking around to see untouched wilderness, a few treelines on the edge of the plain and a river that cut the plain in two some distance away. The only creatures he could see were a few wild hogs and sheep grazing nearby. Archangel looked down to Greta with amusement before signing, "Quaint" to her. He checked his gauntlet to find the others were in this realm somewhere just not in the immediate area. He tapped a few buttons and noticed a grouping of intelligent creatures living nearby. He turned back to Greta saying, "We're not alone here it seems. Other sapients are just beyond that forest there." Archangel started in the direction his gauntlet was pointing towards the village just over the forested hill.

Hohiro watched, but understood nothing of what Breeze and Luna were talking about. As they built this "doorway", Hohiro began thinking about what he could possibly take with him to a new world.
He didn't have enough ammunition, so his guns would need to remain behind. He was uncomfortable with the thought of bringing his swords with him. He realized he had no other weaponry with which to defend himself. He made a mental shrug. Food. Water. Clothing. That would have to be everything. Hopefully, they can fiugre out the rest from there.
"...you look pretty fit yourself Hohiro." Luna says, bringing his attention back to the present. "Though a running start wouldn't hurt either" she continued with a chuckle. He smiled back as he realized that he should have been paying more attention.
"Food, water, and clothing would be the only things I can think to pack... but I have less experience with this than you all do. Any suggestions?"

Luna seemed so excited by how Breeze had been able to connect her first door to a world. Admittedly she was worried it wouldn’t have worked, or that some catastrophic would’ve happened once the door had been opened. Luna was peering through it now, telling them that the atmosphere seemed to be safe, but tasted of TV-static. Breeze had seen snow on a TV before, but wasn’t sure what static tasted like. “Would it taste good?” she wondered. Luna was explaining that it looked like they had a little bit of a jump to make, and this excited Breeze. In the little bit of free time that she’d had, she’d been practicing her flying. Her wings were much stronger now. If she had to, she was pretty sure she could carry Luna or Hohiro with confidence. Not at the same time, but it was an improvement.
As she looked over the edge, she heard Hohiro ask, "Food, water, and clothing would be the only things I can think to pack... but I have less experience with this than you all do. Any suggestions?" Breeze had forgotten this was his first time travelling. Breeze thought back to her first adventure with Luna, the one to remove her collar and how unprepared they were.
Breeze took another look, this time getting close to the edge of the door. It looked like there was step down, just below the door that was about half of her body length. “I think that should be everything we need, and I’ve got all but the clothing in my pack.” She’d forgotten that Hohiro changed his clothes every day. “Perhaps we could pick you up some clothes while we are here? Though I’m not seeing anything in here that’ll need money immediately and it looks like it should only be a little more than a long step down,” Breeze commented. “Then we can better survey things from there?” She suggested, giving her wings a gentle flutter to suggest an aerial survey. It wasn’t like they couldn’t just come right back through the door and grab whatever they needed.
Slinging the backpack onto her back, Breeze sat in front of the door and dangled her legs into the world. It felt odd, like there was a force pushing her legs against the wall. Maybe it was just the sensation of being between two places at once. With a mental shrug, Breeze pushing herself into the world and immediately slide back into the hallway. Trying again, Breeze pulled herself forward much harder this time, and realized belatedly that she was going to fall back into the doorway again. Opening her wings with the speed of a bird, she gave them two hard wing beats to righten herself.
As Breeze oriented herself to the correct direction of gravity, her second wing beat pushed her forward. She hit her knees on bedrock block in front of her and tumbled over it. Her hands entered a strange substance that make her fur tingle. Breeze was about to pull her hands out of it when she was shoved from behind, and she tipped headfirst into the murky TV static.

Hohiro watched as Breeze jumped through the portal... and then flew back in. As she made her second leap, he realized that the door wasn't standing upright. It seemed to be lying flat along the ground.
Hohiiro glanced at Luna, shrugged, then got on his hands and knees near the door.
He crawled through the door, expecting to be able to just turn the corner of where the floors met.
Instead, he climbed most of the way through and gravity plus vertigo caused him to tumble head first. He felt his feet fly over his head and slam into something soft before bouncing off and landing onto something sandy.
He laid still for a few moments, staring at the sky while waiting for the vertigo to pass.

“...looks like it should only be a little more than a long step down, Then we can better survey things from there?” Breeze suggested with a gentle flutter of her wings as a non-verbal suggestion.
"Sounds like a good idea to me" Luna said, smiling at the thought of getting to see Breeze fly again. Luna watched as Breeze tested the waters a bit before trying to hop in but gets slid back which causes Luna to exhale amusedly and go "Oh. Huh." as she realizes something may not be 100% right with the door, it should still be fine though. She watched Breeze tumble through and disappear from sight though the arc of her travel shows that gravity is the wrong way around in there. Luna turned to Hohiro who gave her a shrug which she returned and watched as he crawled through attempting to keep himself oriented. A task which apparently didn't go so well as Luna saw Hohiro's legs fly up as he too disappears from view which causes her to snirk as she shakes her head "Guess I gotta show them how it's done then" Luna says aloud to herself with a chuckle as she backs up to the other side of the hallway, takes a few seconds to think about how the other gravity is situated and then runs towards the door leaping forward into a horizontal dive! Which immediately turns into upward momentum as she passes the door she flies into the air quite a few feet causing her to barely notice a flicker of light above her before her attention is drawn below her to the strange pool of some tingly substance below her that she quickly passes through causing her vision to fade for a few moments.
. . .
And then she finds herself falling into some sand with enough force to bury her up to her up to her chest. Luna coughs a few times before saying "bleck... Sand." Luna wiggles a few times before saying "so there might have been one teeny issue with your door there Breeze" Luna says with a chuckle before noticing Breeze in front of her on the ground giving her quite the view. "also uhh, I may need a bit of help" Luna says with a chuckle.
it always takes a few moments but sure enough she felt her body adjusting to the world they're in however unlike last time, this time she feels some physical changes happen. Luna quickly gives herself a once over but realizes whatever happened was to her lower half which remains buried in sand.

The gentle breeze tousled Archangels hair and he snickered at how he looked as though he was in a Shampoo commercial. The land sloped upwards as he followed the indicator on his gauntlet towards the village. His eyes darted to the other indicator on the gauntlet he was using to find the nearby village which indicated the others had suddenly gotten rather close. Luna must have used one of her, suprisingly recklessly made, gaping tears in reality to move them closer to his location. The interferance with the original signal either meant they were on the other side of the realm or this reality had sub-realms and pocket dimensions. It didn't matter to him as he continued to walk using his gauntlet as a map. He would have continued to go along almost blindly if Greta didn't chitter into his ear to break his daze.
He shook it out of his head to notice what she had warned him about; a zombified human. This wasn't the first living dead he had incountered but this one seemed brazen in it's existance. He signed to Greta, "Free that poor soul." She held out one of her small hands, furrowed her brow hard with focus, before a thick gout of flame pierced the distance between her and the zombie. The creature flailed for a few moments before becoming ash under the torrent of searing heat. Archangel shook his head as there were dangers to this world that meant he had to be aware of his surroundings; he only hoped the sapients he was heading towards were friendly. He continued in the forest spotting another living dead on the way, which Greta quickly dispatched, a different type of living dead which was just an animate skeleton, they avoided that one as it had a bow, and a massive spider, which did not attack Archangel. He pushed through the final branches blocking his way to the clearing at the top of the hill.
Before him was a peaceful village of likely a dozen or so buildings. A people that looked very much like humans were there, just with extremely large noses, protected by massive Iron constructs made in their image; perhaps they were automata of some sort or robotic battle suits. They looked to live a relatively unmolested life here despite the dangers and they seemed friendly enough. Archangel looked to Greta and told her to be wary as they may prove to be hostile. As the two approached the villagers they regarded the newcomers with curiosity and friendliness. They spoke a strange language that took Archangel's translator a few moments to tune into and once it did he knew they were asking if Archangel had come to their village to trade with them. Curious. Archangel might have to trade something with them to pry more information from them.

Breeze, felt like she was going to be sick. For a moment she felt like she was falling through nothing. She wanted to open her wings, to stop her fall, but for some reason she couldn’t move. Then the world came up to her really quickly and Breeze landed on her stomach. The ground, the sand, under her was warm. She could smell trees, flowers, and grass nearby. She lay there for a moment, waiting for her stomach to stop doing backflips. Then there was a pfft sound and she heard Luna behind her.
“Bleck…sand.” There was a pause before she continued, “so there might have been one teeny issue with your door there Breeze.” The feedback was good natured, signaled by Luna’s chuckle after she said it. There was another pause before she said, “also uhh, I may need a bit of help.”
Breeze forced herself up onto her feet and turned around. They were on a beach beside a lake. The water was a deep blue, and for the first time in her life, Breeze had the urge to swim and explore it’s depths. Probably wouldn’t be a good idea though, considering she didn’t know how to swim. As she looked around, something seemed…off about this world. Everything was very square. The sand ended in a line that didn’t slope into the water, and as the beach extended, she could see where ‘chunks of it’ dug into the water. The nearby trees had the same look to them, their trunks being almost perfectly square, leading up to a canopy of square leaves.
Finally, Breeze’s eyes fell to Luna, who was buried up to her waist in sand. Padding over the warm ground, she hooked her paws under Luna and attempted to pull her out. The sand didn’t give, it seemed to have a strong hold on the vulpine. Breeze got down to her knees and started to dig. Suddenly, the space that she was digging disappeared and a small popping noise was followed by it. This also caused movement in her peripheral vision. It was something she couldn’t quite see but was aware that it existed. Repeating this process, Breeze was able to dig Luna out of the sand and she KNEW that she had 4 pieces of sand to show for it.
Breeze was distracted with this extra knowledge as she focused on it. It was some sort of a feedback system, telling her that she was healthy, and was well fed. She also had the urge to punch a tree, though she wasn’t sure why. “Luna, something’s different here.” She said, “besides everything being very square.” Her paw ran along the edge of the sandblocks that were neighbors to the ones that had held Luna. She expected it to be sharp, but it was soft, just like sand.

Luna watched as Breeze got up and looked around which made Luna's eyes wander as well. While unnoticed at first, everything seemed very... cuboid... Tree's, ground, hills, etc. while the minor plants and occasional tall grass seem to be a bit more flat. Luna found herself looking at a small flower that also fits that kindof flat looking description as well before her eyes were drawn back to Breeze as she grabbed on and started to pull. Luna could feel herself shift a bit but something seemed to be caught under the sand, well that and the sand seems to be a bit dense. Luna wiggled as Breeze stopped pulling and started to dig hoping to make the sand a bit more looser. That was when a square chunk of the sand vanished with a small pop. Luna watched Breeze do the other 3 cubes of sand and she finds herself now just standing in a 2 by 2 'squares' of hole. Luna looked up and saw Breeze distracted doing... something, looking at something? Luna turns to look when her eyes catches something, something following her field of view not able to be seen clearly. Concentrating on it she can tell that she's relatively healthy and not hungry though not much else. This worries Luna slightly as a foreign thought of another life enters her mind. Another adventure within a world that also seemingly had 'strange information' accessible to them.
“Luna, something’s different here.” Breeze says causing Luna to snap out of her maze of thoughts “besides everything being very square.” Breeze continues as she feels the edge of the pit she's is still standing in.
"Just a bit yeah, looks like this universe got some strange rules... Luckily this doesn't seem too bad, it's mostly accurate to universes you're used too." Luna explains, looking around but looking back before adding "Besides, could be worse. The last 'rulebound' universe I went too was 'turn based'. So if you got in a fight you just had to let them try and hit you without being able to move more then using your hands or anything in them to block." with a chuckle. Luna pauses for a moment before also adding "Also I know we haven't encountered any 'baddies' yet but I don't feel that same feeling I had back then here, so we should be fine there." Luna then decided she no longer wished to tilt her head up so high to talk to Breeze so Luna placed her hands on the edge of the hole and hopped out, jumping a tad bit higher then she expected. Luna stumbled a bit once landing on the ground beside Breeze and looked down at her lower half, starting at her legs they seem to be more digitigrade in shape along with being a bit more thicker and stronger. Running a paw down she feels her hip bones are a tad bit wider as well though probably not too much. Her tail is roughly the same though it's about one and a half times longer, it's easily twice as fluffy and giving it a quick sway she can feel the normally thin tube-like muscle underneath the fluff easily as round as her arms. These descriptions all make her think of one creature and sure enough after a quick check, a thin speed bump looking thing lay across the middle of her torso where her belly meets her ribcage. Running a hand down her chest her paw slips behind the 'bump' as her suspicions turn out correct, from what she can see she seems to be more kangaroo like. "huh." Luna says wiggling her fingers inside the pouch before removing her hand, walking over to the water and looking at her reflection in the lake which show her normal self. "Looks like my top half is still foxy though" she says with a chuckle. Luna turns back to Breeze and give a bit of a spin to show herself off "Not my choice of a form change but whadya think?"

Hohiro's head was starting to finally quit spinning as he barely noticed Luna flash past him and disappear into what appeared to be a pond of sparkly tar. The fact that she disappeared without a trace and the door didn't immediately slam shut seemed like a good indicator that it was safe to pass through.
He stood up and dusted himself off. He frowned at the tar. He already experienced traveling to one dimension. n Now he has to travel to another dimension within a dimension? hat would be next? A test on quantum physics??
A roar from above and behind brought his attention back to the present. He turned towards the sound and saw a giant, black dragon flying in his direction. A Big. Blocky? Black. Dragon.
"Why does it always have to be dragons?" he muttered with a sigh. His decision made for him, he plunged feet first into the tar, landing two feet from Breeze and Luna. He glanced around and realized that things definitely did not look quite like they should.
"Do all your adventures involve angry dragons, or is it just since I joined you?" he asked.

Archangel approached one of the villagers to see what they were willing to trade. The straw hat and brown robes the creature wore immediately made sense once they asked to trade many bushels of wheat. Archangel looked to the nearby fields of crops full of mature plants waiting to be cut and he understood the farmer was being lazy and wanted to pay him to harvest the crops. While such a mundane task would be easy enough Archangel was less than eager to be the hired help. He thought for a moment before he reached over and took a spare hair from the villagers shoulder; the creature didn't seem to notice or if it did it cared little. He fed the hair into one of his gauntlets which churned and analyzed the sample INSTANTLY. That was new. Archangel furrowed his brow as he looked at the results of the sample. He squinted at the display before whispering under his breath, "No...."
Archangel removed his HUD glasses and began to fiddle with the arms before replacing them on his head. He tapped the right arm of his glasses before letting out a long and slightly bemused sigh. Greta chittered into his ear with a look of worry on her face. Archangel shook his head and signed to her, "I'm fine Greta. I just figured out which realm the others decided to visit; possibly inadvertantly." Archangel began to walk towards one of the nearby trees on the outskirts of the town. He looked up and down the strangely cuboid structure of the wood, bark, leaves and branches. He wound up his arm and slammed his fist into the center of the tree. A 1 meter cube disappeared out of the center of the tree with a distinctive pop noise. The piece of wood he knew was in a pocket dimension of sorts that was connected specifically to him. The part of the tree above where he removed the chunk of wood floated as if it was still perfectly supported even though it was obviously floating.
Archangel shook his head as he looked back to Greta again before signing to her, "I know this reality, or at least one of it's like. It's a universe setting from our world and similar ones. There is a video game perhaps based off this world of perhaps this world was created in the image of that video game." Archangel chuckled before finishing, "Yes Greta. We find ourselves in one of the many worlds of the smash hit video game Minecraft from back home."

It appeared as Luna had the body of a kangaroo of some sort, but the top half of her was still her normal self. “Looks like my top half is still foxy though,” Luna said and gave a small spin, her muscular tail trailing behind her slightly. “Not my choice of a form change but whadya think?”
Breeze let out a small chuckle, “It looks very good on you,” She said before collecting a bit more of the sand. She wasn’t sure what she was going to do with it, but the ease of collecting it made it fun to do so.
Hohiro’s voice sounded behind her, and she looked over her shoulder as he spoke, “Do all your adventures involve angry dragons, or is it just since I join you?”
Breeze was a bit confused by this question though, “Angry dragon? What do you mean?” She hadn’t seen the dragon, she hadn’t seen much of the previous place they’d been in, in fact. “And if there were an angry dragon, you’d be the common denominator here,” she said with a slight chuckle, poking some fun at the elf.

“It looks very good on you,” Breeze said with a chuckle, this made Luna smile. She wasn't sure why her body chose this alteration but she's sure she'll find out soon enough, and also she's happy Breeze is happy with it. Luna watched as Breeze happily collected more sand which caused her to crouch down and investigate a bit. 'huh, it actually feels like sand. Just... not.' Luna thinks to herself, she ran a paw over the sand and sure enough it feels like running your hand across loose sand but it's still a solid unchangeable cube. She crouched there for a bit longer watching Breeze with a smile before she hears a thunk behind her followed by a familiar and annoyed voice.
“Do all your adventures involve angry dragons, or is it just since I join you?” Hohiro asked
“Angry dragon? What do you mean?” Breeze responded confused before adding “And if there were an angry dragon, you’d be the common denominator here,” with a chuckle which got one out of Luna as well.
"Yeah... it could have been Archangel though he doesn't appear to be here yet so I guess it's you that's cursed" Luna says with a chuckle.

Hohiro made an exaggeratedly dramatic sigh as he got to his feet. "I suppose it would be my luck."
He looked around and took in the surrounding area. It was very... cubic. And somewhat logical. A couple of quick calculations in his head let him determine the general dimensions of a single square. 1 meter per side. Well. That made things easy.
For as far as he could see, there were mostly grasslands to the right, water behind, and a forest off to the left.
"Any idea where we should go, or how we should go about gathering food and supplies? I see a forest over there where we can get some wood for a fire."

Archangel had taken some time to destroy a few trees and build a "Crafting Bench" as the game named it. A device that allowed for most of the progression through the Minecraft game. He knew that while this world likely worked similarly to the video game there was equally likely differences and so he could not rely on his admittedly limited experience with the game to carry him through this little adventure. Everything he had tried so far seemed to have worked despite the likely differences that would appear. After a few more moments he had built for himself a set of neolithic stone tools consisting of sharpened stones tied to sticks. Once these tools had been fully constructed Archangel looked down to see that his gauntlet had detected the signature of his beacon relatively nearby.
Archangel finished harvesting the crops of the local farmers before replanting the seeds into the tilled soil of the crop rows. He had some number of potatoes, carrots and bushels of wheat, none of which were particularly filling in their current form, although they would suffice for the moment for his needs and the needs of the others. Hoisting Greta onto his shoulder he began to wander beyond the village towards another forest of thick trees. Thankfully there appeared to be no monsters in this forest as it was about midday, the sun of the realm was leering down on the land from it's zenith, so Archangel's mind could safely wander for a bit. As he autopiloted throught the forest, following the proximity sounds of his gauntlet and listening to the gentle breathing of his simian companion, his mind wandered through what he could remember of playing that game. He remembered scarce little beyond some of the frustratingly obtuse systems of the game and that the ending was rather lackluster at launch. He shook his head, bringing himself back into the present, just in time to see a nearby living dead that had wandered out of a cavern burst into flame with Greta's rage. The rotting creature fell into one of the trees of the forest which quickly caught fire like a matchstick. This made no sense though as Greta had torched a living dead before with none of the surrounding terrain catching fire.
Archangel paid the flaming tree little mind beyond the confusing physics that it exhibited. There was a river just a few paces from the trees and the tree itself was relatively isolated from other growth. The fire would likely attract the attention of the others as they were just beyond the treeline on a sandy beach. Archangel adjusted his clothes and Greta groomed a few stray chunks of fur from her face in anticipation of meeting people once again. She was eager to speak with the Wolfy one in particular and her small features belied her exitement.

"I suppose it would be my luck." Hohiro commented to his feet. He took a moment to look around, taking in their surroundings. "Any idea where we should go, or how we should go about gathering food and supplies? I see a forest over there where we can get some wood for a fire."
Breeze wasn’t sure that they needed a fire, but she did like the idea of trying to gather some wood. Maybe they could figure out a way to knock down one of the trees. “I place my vote for the forest.” she said, getting out of the hole in the sand she’d made. Padding over toward the line of trees, it didn’t take long for her to get there. There weren’t any small saplings that she could see to break down into something else that was handy. So, using the knowledge that she had in her head, she tentatively knocked on the bark of the nearest tree. The sensation was weird, she could feel the wood, but it also wasn’t hard and didn’t hurt her hand. A small crack formed in the center of the block. Breeze kept knocking on the block, and eventually it popped into a smaller version of itself. Backing up a few paces, Breeze expected the tree to fall with one of it’s main supports having been removed. Instead, the tree floated, asserting its dominance over the force of gravity.
Returning to her new prize, she picked up the block and another sense of new knowledge came to her. Holding the block between her paws, she realized it was a miniature version of the one she’d broken, easier to handle and deal with. Taking the block in both paws, she tried to squeeze the block between them. There was a ‘pop’ and when she opened her paws, 4 planks now rested in her paws. This is the strangest place, Breeze thought as she then squeezed the 4 planks together and got a crafting table. From one block, to four, and back to one. Setting the table down, she turned to see where her two companions were and if they’d made the same progress she had. That's when she noticed the smoke climbing up from the nearby tree tops.

Hohiro followed behind Breeze and Luna as he took in the surrounding area. He noticed that there didn't seem to be any gradual areas. It was beach one moment, then grass the next. The forest didn't have a zone of less trees to gradually demarcate the forest. It was just grass everywhere, then trees.
Breeze approached one of the trees, and then punched it over and over. Hohiro began to wonder if she was just taking out her frustrations on the tree when the part of the tree she was hitting suddenly popped and shrunk. The rest of the tree just continued to float in the air. Hohiro's eyebrow rose as he said "Fascinating". He watched a bit longer as she seemed to squeeze the wood she held into one thing, and then another.
This world's physics worked on a separate logic base than their own. He'd never heard of this kind of logic, not even in video games. He'd have to remember it for the next time he ever returned home and was able to do retail programming again.
He turned his attention to a tree next to him and hesitantly punched it. The expected pain, did not come, so he continued, much like Breeze did. When he picked up the block, information flooded into his brain, much the same way as it did when he was in the Matrix. However, this information was self-contained and appeared as if out of nowhere. He held the block of wood in his hands and smiled. If he concentrated just right, he could sense and somewhat picture an inventory screen. His deck was definitely helping with this recreation. He doubted that his unenhanced brain could have come up with this concept in such a short amount of time.
After working through that, he decided to gather more wood before trying to make anything such as Breeze did.He punched the area or wood right above where he had taken the first chunk. After a few moments of trying to climb onto the meter high stump, he stepped up on it. Shaking his head, he hit the block above him and now had 3 chunks of wood. He decided to try and hit the block above him, but couldn't reach it. He wondered if he could just put one of the blocks he had under him and get to it that way. At first, it didn't place. Then, when he jumped, it filled in the entire meter cube below him. 'Huh.." he thought. He hit the block above until it, too, collapsed into his hands. Looking down, he didn't feel inclined on jumping down, so he decided to try punching the block under him. After a few strikes, it broke and he fell the meter to the next chunk of wood. And, most importantly, it didn't hurt or injure him in any way. 'Maybe sometime later I will try seeing how far a person can fall before it hurts.' he thought to himself.
He finished chopping down the tree and noticed that the leaves above him had started to disappear. A couple things had fallen onto the ground and he picked them up. Two oak saplings and two apples.
"Looks like food is a thing in this world. I just found two apples," he called out to the others.

"Any idea where we should go, or how we should go about gathering food and supplies? I see a forest over there where we can get some wood for a fire." “I place my vote for the forest.”
"A forest usually does have most things needed to survive" Luna agrees hopping out of the hole Breeze dug and followed into the forest. She watched as Breeze bopped the tree until a square chunk of it shrunk leaving the upper half to just... float there "huh..." Luna says unsure of what to say about the tree's lack of care about their perception of how gravity should work. Luna too started bopping a tree nearby idly hitting it while still watching Breeze take the log, break it apart and put it back again and then place down a table of sorts complete with tools around the edge, though on a double take she notices they seem to be just decoration and not removable. 'what a strange world' Luna thinks to herself as she feels her hand pass through where she thought the log would be since she broke it. Luna looked back and picked up the small cube and broke it apart just like Breeze and now holding four little blocks she held them in one hand and using her other she opened her new pouch and dropped two of the wooden planks in leaving two left for ease of holding. Luna tried pressing them together side by side but nothing happened but upon placing them the other way around on top of each other she suddenly finds herself holding four sticks. Blinking a few times she goes "huh" again and places three of them in her pouch and holds one and starts testing other things. Looking up the first thing she tries is the cuboid leaves, using the stick she starts wacking the leaves until a block of them breaks but nothing drops, she tried one more time and when the second broke a stick fell from it. Luna took the dropped stick in her other hand and looked between the two before stashing the other in her pouch as well. "This place acts strange and has some funky universal laws" Luna laughs continuing to poke things with a stick until they break. So far she's collected some wooden planks, a couple sticks and a singular cube of dirt, all stuffed into her pouch seemingly vanishing.
"Looks like food is a thing in this world. I just found two apples," Hohiro called out causing Luna to look back to see Hohiro holding two strange looking apples. "hah, they're flat" Luna commented amusedly with a chuckle. "Though it's good that food is a thing here, hopefully they're edible" Luna adds. After a few moments though Luna's nose twitches and wiggles for a second and she turns and looks around sniffing a few times before saying "Hey... Do you guys smell that?" as she smells something smoky. "Maybe we should go check it out?" Luna asks looking over in the direction the smoke smell is coming from "last time there was fire we found Archangel, maybe we'll find him again? he did say he'd be around" Luna suggests with a chuckle

Archangel heard the faintest scraps of conversation wafting on the breeze from outside the forest edge. He knew very well it was the indecipherable words of the others even though he could scarcely make out what they were saying. He smiled to Greta as he spun a neolithic style stone axe in his hand. He fell a few nearby trees and quickly gathered up the wood to the background buzz of speech from nearby. He handed an apple to Greta from the chopped trees, who greedily stuffed the fruit into her mouth, before continuing to craft a second, third and fourth set of neolithic tools. He surmised that the others might be completely lost in this honestly quite arbitrar realm. If they did know what they needed to do the spare tools were still useful.
The once flaming tree by this point was a smoking charred husk, still a beacon for sure but a significantly less flashy one. Archangel hacked away the grass and brush around his artificial clearing, Greta punching along what she could as well, to grab what he could from the grass. You could break just about anything in this game and most of it even had a reason beyond sheer aesthetic value. Archangel leaned against a nearby tree to shade himself from the midday sun, Greta scampered up onto his shoulder before cleaning her fur and there they waited for the others to come. It would be a short wait.

"Last time there was fire we found Archangel, maybe we'll find him again? he did say he'd be around" Luna suggested with a chuckle.
This caught Breeze off guard and prompted a chuckle from her as well, even though the smoke seemed a little bleak against the gentle rolling clouds. Picking up her crafting table, she started through the woods toward the source of the smoke. Breeze was half tempted to fly over the trees, but if he was in a thick part of the forest, she’d never be able to land without crashing through the trees themselves. The trees cast quite a bit of shade underneath them, keeping her cool even with her thick fur. It wasn’t long before she found a small clearing with a cave mouth nearby. Leaning against a nearby tree was Archangel, prompting Breeze to turn her head back and call to Luna, “I guess you were right about Archangel and fire,” she said with a chuckle.
She padded over to where he was in the shade and noticed Greta was on his shoulder. “Well long time no see,” she said brightly to them. “You found us rather quickly, I’m surprised you were able to put up a signal to find us easily.” She said and gestured to the tree that had mostly burned itself out by then.
