Breeze left her workshop, satisfied with the items she'd made that day. Walking across the lawn, Breeze shivered and let out a small giggle as the grass tickled her footpads. She crossed the yard, passing the different plants she was growing. Luna had told her it wasn't necessary, but it was nice to have something to do over the last couple of weeks they'd spent setting up the house. Walking through the back door into the kitchen, Breeze looked over the lay of the house she'd help create. Reaching into the fridge, Breeze pulled out a carton of milk. The fridge itself wasn't powered, but it didn't need to be. With Luna's ability to link the rooms, the fridge actually held the food world that'd been created just so Breeze had food to eat. After pouring and downing the milk, she returned the carton to the fridge. Walking into the livingroom, Breeze looked around her simple creation. An open floor plan kitchen, livingroom, and dinning room on the first floor. The second floor was just the loft which was their bedroom, with a bathroom connected to it. Walking over to the stairs nearest the front door, Breeze took the stairs up to see if Luna was possibly in the loft. "She must be working on her cave some more," Breeze said to herself aloud.
Walking out the back door, Breeze walked past her workshop and over to the area marked as "Under construction." It was an inside joke between the two of them, since they were the only two in the tower, and thus their home area. She walked past the sign, and entered what was the start of the cave. Taking the carved out stone steps down, it wasn't long before she found Luna carving out a bit of rock, expanding the look of the cave with it's glittering rocks. "There ya are," Breeze said, her tail wagging behind her and her wings unfurled a little bit. "How are things coming along down here? It's looking really nice."

Keaton Post: Luna looked through the begging part to the cave she's making smiling as she looks over all the shiny crystals lighting it up. 'Ooh now there's an idea' Luna thinks to herself walking to a back point in the cave feeling the cool stone and the warm crystals as she walks by them, she makes it to the back and starts to clear out another tunnel. She makes it a little ways before hearing a familiar voice behind her, she turns to face Breeze. "Ah your awake! Good morning sleepyhead!" Luna says happily, her tail wagging "it's going pretty good so far, I've just started working on a new part of the cave that I think will be both really cool and super useful. Buuuuut I'm not sure I wanna say what it is quite yet" Luna explains and sticks out her tongue. "otherwise, how are you doing this morning?" Luna asks with a playful tone, knowing quite well that it's been past noon for a while now.

Breeze waved a paw at Luna as she teased her. "You know I wasn't sleeping in this whole time. I've been working in the workshop all morning. Tried to bust one of my fingers while I was working on a chair too. Luckily, I heal quickly." Breeze said, giving Luna a wink. She grabbed Luna's paw and tugged her a little closer, "But, I was thinking. We've been working on stuff around here now for a couple of weeks. Don't you think that maybe it's time to get out and see another world?" She asked her Vulpine friend. "We've gotten clothes together, the house is basically setup. Everything should be good to go until we get back. I've been really wanting to go see someplace new over the last couple of days." Breeze said, fanning her eyes in a 'look at me, I'm cute and asking you to do something with me' kind of look.

"Aww sorry you got your finger. But oooo yeah we should totally go on another adventure!" Luna says sounding sorry firstly but excited during the latter half. "Also yeah everything should be fine, I'll keep an eye on it just in case." Luna's tail starts fwiping back and forth as she pulls Breeze in for a hug in response to her cute look she gave "So any place or kind of place you have in mind?" Luna asks moving her minds eye down the hallway and prepping a new door for travel, not that it requires much prep-work. Continuing Luna says "It could be techy non-techy, basic, fantasy, scary, not scary or we could even leave it up to chance too. The possibilities are endless and even with all the time in the world I doubt we'd get to visit all of them" Luna chuckles.

Entering the hallway with Luna, Breeze grabbed their twin backpacks off of the hooks she'd added. Inside was some essential gear that they'd decided would be useful on any trip that they took, including some spare oxygen. Breeze pondered it for a while as they walked side by side down the hallway, "I think I'd like to go somewhere with a bit of fantasy. Maybe somewhere with magic that I could learn about? Even with all my training, it's one of Mistic's abilities that I never understood entirely. She could use it to do all sorts of miracles...and some nasty stuff as well." Breeze faltered for a moment and stopped in her tracks. Her eyes seemed to be focused on something else for a moment before she came back to herself. Her tail was droopy now instead of raised or wagging, the memory a harsh one. "But I wanna learn to do good things, maybe like healing others or something. I'll also admit I think it'd be pretty cool to hold fire in my paw," Breeze said as she held it up like a cup. "So maybe somewhere like that?" She finally suggested as she caught back up to Luna.

Luna listened to Breeze talk as she put her pack on over one arm, magic huh? Luna's seen a few places with magic before but none that she's been able to use elsewhere, though that could be due to how her avatar works. Though this new bit of news both intregues and worries Luna she decided to wait to ask her question. "Healing could be nice though, luckily neither of us really need it" Luna chuckles. "Also, with strong enough magic you might be able to touch the core of my essence without being hurt." Luna opens the door to the main tower chamber and points to the Large light blue flame sitting in it's brazier atop the large 2-3 story tall staired pyramid-esque structure. "Again, sorry about that," she apologizes again for a past incident that would've killed any normal person, and she had no ability to stop it.
Luna leads Breeze through the large open empty ground floor of the tower before opening the main doors to a large white void. Statues stood on either side of the main tower doors and another doorway a distance away from the tower. Heading through those doors they arrive in a hallway that also featured pure white walls, floors and ceiling. The walls held evenly spaced old style wooden double doors with round tops. Walking down the hallway they pass door after door. Each door holds a world behind it, connecting this hallway to other universes. It's how Luna (and now Breeze) travels. After a few minutes of walking (and maybe a bit of cheating to quicken the travel) they reach a point in the hallway where the doors turn from a normal brown wood and brass looking door knobs transition to 'grey' doors. They have dark grey wood and a dull silver-grey metal. These doors are blank and unconnected, a blank canvas if you will.
"Somewhere with a bit of fantasy, and a bit magic-y, I think I can do that. Luckily that combination is pretty easy to find so it shouldn't take too much effort to connect to a new random world." Luna holds out her hands as her eyes are filled with a light blue light that matches the color of her flame. When placing her hands on the door color springs forth in a small radius around her hands.
About a minute passes before the color starts creeping outward from her hands slowly turning the door to the brown color of all the other doors and with an exhale Luna returns to normal, the door complete. "okay... we should be good to go." Luna says as she opens the door to a forested area lit by daylight.
"I want to ask you something Breeze," Luna spoke as she stepped out into the needle covered forest floor and slipped on her cloak. "Could you tell me a bit more about Mistic and the kind of magic she uses?" Luna asked warily. She knew she was prying into Breeze's past, but magic users always worried her.

Breeze pulled on her cloak and followed Luna into the forest. The sensation was weird, walking out of the hallway and into a world with its own set of rules. It was like stepping off a spaceship back onto solid ground between one breath and the next. The sensation caused her to shiver with anticipation and she shifted the backpack on her shoulders. Breeze took a deep breath and took in the scent of the trees, flowers, and animals. There was something else there as well, but she could not place what the smell was. "Mistic was never specific on what her magic did. I’ve seen her hold fire before, and she's used it to...put her subjects in a trance. That's what I'd call it anyway. She said she was one of the fae, which is where her magic came from. She's been practicing it for a long time if I remember correctly." Breeze said, looking around them as the door closed and concealed itself. Thanks to the piece of Luna's flame that was inside of her, she could still see where the door was supposed to be.
“It was really strange though, you know? Someone who is a magic user was also heavily investing in technology and leading the trend back home.” Breeze took another breath of fresh air, “I haven’t smelt anything like this in a very long time. It reminds me of something…but I’m not sure what it is.” Breeze reached into her backpack and pulled out a compass to see if it worked and looked around them to gain a sense of direction. “So according to this compass, this way is North” Breeze gestured in the direction the compass indicated. “Which way do you want to start exploring first?”

A thick cloud of smog clung to the gleaming knife like skyscrapers of the Seattle skyline. The streets below buzzed with intense activity as the afternoon lunchtime rush gripped the congested streets and walkways. Uncountable billboards sounded extolling the virtues of their various products to whomsoever had the misfortune to be nearby. Sitting on a nearby bench outside of some deck accessory and electronics store was a bemused Archangel.
Feeling quite pleased having beaten back the crowds that were just inherent in such a thickly populated city; Archangel pulled the trinkets he had purchased from the bags they were laying in. They were state of the art components here, but would be considered bleeding edge experimental tech back home. He examined the mostly chrome miscellaneous electronics before gently replacing them in their carriage. Chuckling to himself at how cheap he was able to get these pieces he thought to take a quick stroll through a nearby small park. Seattle had been redesigned to allow for more parks to appease the Elven voter blocks about a decade ago, not that Archangel gave it much thought.
After a lazy few minutes of strolling through the mostly empty park Archangel had walked along the paths snaking through the trees. Feeling a little adventurous, and knowing full well very few things here could actually threaten him he decided to wander off the path for a bit. It would be a short trip to see what was in the large clearing he has spied in this park from one of the nearby skyscrapers. As he wandered through the familiar surroundings of a forest he head what must have been voices. Not wanting to walk in on something he shouldn't he slunk behind a tree to listen before he burst through the brush.
“I haven’t smelt anything like this in a very long time. It reminds me of something…but I’m not sure what it is,” a muffled rustling noise followed the feminine voice as if she was looking for something in a bag. “So according to this compass, this way is North. Which way do you want to start exploring first?”
'Curious. The park was a big dense here but wandering in a straight line for less than a minute in any direction would take you to a path or out of the park. How could someone be lost?' Archangel though to himself. Deciding it may be a youngster or a tourist Archangel decided it was likely safe to approach them without social taboo to at least continue on to the clearing. He came around the tree and looked above the bushes in the direction of the voice before freezing in his step at the sight before him.
Before him stood an anthropomorphic wolf like human with wings sprouting from it's back and an anthropomorphic fox like human. He blinked as his heart started to beat explosively in his chest and his thoughts became a maelstrom in his mind. Finally grabbing hold of his senses after those shocked few moments a single thought burst through the storm, 'What the hell are Fera doing in this realm?!'

Hohiro sat in a tree on the edge of Bridal Trails Park. It was not often that he got to visit the richer areas of Seattle, but he was hired to be a lookout for a team of runners who were in the middle of an extraction of "valuable assets". Fortunately, the park's WiFi network was strong enough for him to access the matrix without needing to access any of the corpo networks nearby. It was child's play to gain access to the security cameras of the area, making it much easier to hide while still doing his job. "Trimmer Two, no changes," he said over the commlink to his current boss. "Copy. We're in the final stage now. If anything changes, it'll happen soon," came the slightly muffled reply. He was not sure why the leader of this group still insisted on using older tech, instead of an implant, but each to their own, he supposed. Either way, the nuyen was good. And, according to the contract he signed, he didn't even need to help the team extract themselves if things went poorly. He probably would help anyway, but they didn't know that. Being a professional lookout was a lot more work than most people believed it to be. Paying attention to details were very important. Such as flagging the creep sitting on the bench several hundred meters away drooling over some of his latest tech purchases. Hohiro tried to run a search on the man, but no SIN details came up, nor did any RFID tags. It wasn't enough to warn the team, but it was enough for Hohiro to be paranoid of this guy's actions. After several minutes, the commlink buzzed again. "Mission complete, we're extracting." "Trimmer Two, copies. Be aware, I have one unidentified male in the park, who just got up to start roaming around. May not be anything, but thought you should know in case you want to diver to an alternate route."After a long pause, a terse reply of "Copy," came back. Hohiro shrugged. It wasn't his call to make, but that strange guy was meandering closer to his position. At least, he was until he turned to face into the woods as two strangely dressed.... women? came out of the treeline. Two people that Hohiro definitely did not see enter the park at any point this morning. "Trimmer Two. Two more unknowns have met with the first. Suggest alternate to Park Exit.""Too late, Trimmer Two. We're going to be coming out a bit hotter than expected." Hohiro kept part of his attention on the three strange people as one of the garage doors across the street from them burst open in a gout of flame. Through the smoke and fire, an Ares Roadmaster van streaked out onto the road and cut north. Followed closely behind by a Goliath security vehicle.

Hearing the screeching of wheels Archangel turned around just in time to see a garage door on the side of a building explode into flame and disgorge armoured vehicles. Archangel's face fell into his hand as exasperation filled his form as the car chase exploded into action. He slipped into the thick bushes around the trees next to him hoping to get out of view. With the benefit of privacy he began to formulate a plan. Not keen on being near the two Fera when they entered war-form, and the resulting mass delerium, Archangel wanted to get on top of one of the nearby buildings. How could he do that while skirting the concensus? Aha! He could cause and explosion to throw him to the roof; any criminal organization would want to spread the police as much as possible during a heist after all. Chuckling to himself bemused he pulled a strand of firecrackers from a pocket too small to hold them. They would cause extremely loud noise but little flash; he would provide the flash. He pulled two routines, one that controlled fire and another that would let him fly, from his pack and docked them into his gauntlet. Tapping the buttons and screens he ran a simulation of what the explosion should look and how his body should react to let him reach the roof in a believable fashion. 'This is going to sting like hell', he thought to himself as he quickly practiced the motion a couple times. A flurry of deafening explosions rang through the air, combating the screeching of the car chase for prominence, followed by a massive explosion of fire that levelled a few trees and lit a good portion of the park on fire. Through the raucous chaos a single smoking form was launched from the explosion to splat wetly on the roof of a nearby building. In significantly less pain than one should have been for being launched 50ft by an explosion Archangel crawled to the edge of the roof to survey the ongoing madness in case another action was needed.

Breeze's grin faltered for a moment as a man appeared from behind a tree. He was well dressed, not unlike the customer's that Breeze use to provide services for. To her though, he seemed rather naked without fur covering him. Luna had prepared her for this moment in the downtime they'd enjoyed together. It was still startling to see a creature with so little fur covering it, at least one that wasn't a lizard anyway. It's skin seemed pale in the beams of sunlight that filtered in through the trees, yet it held itself like it was comfortable even in this shade. Breeze was searching for the right words to introduce them, the surprise slowing her down, when the ground shook and an ear piercing "BOOM" rocked the ground they were standing on. The illusion of the forest almost immediately vanished as fuzzy clouds turned into skyscrapers, and the sound of bird song was suddenly muffled under the sound of screeching tires, horns, and alarms blaring.
In that moment, something peculiar happened. There had been plenty of times in the past where Breeze wanted to leave the situation she was in. Either out of dread, surprise, or embarrassment. She'd gotten really good at hiding those emotions on her face, but she'd never gained the ability to keep her fight or flight reflexes from almost immediately unfurling her wings. This had never been a problem, because the entire time she was at the Acadamy, and for most of the time while serving under her Mistress, her wings had been bound to her torso. Now they were as free as she was, and they beat down hard out of reflex. Breeze felt the ground leave her feet, which was surprising even to her. The wind rushed passed her face, throwing her cloak hook back, as she easily cleared the trees with one stroke of her wings. She was about to start lightly flapping to lower herself down when there was another explosion, just a few feet from where that man had been before.
Now the surrounding trees were starting to go up in flame, blocking Breeze's way back down to the ground as the heat grew almost immediately. She tried using her wings to extinguish the nearest flames but it only fanned them into becoming hotter. Breeze looked around for a moment, trying to gain some baring in this strange land when she noticed a smokey trail leading up to the top of a building. 'Maybe Luna formed some of her own wings and escaped the flames,' Breeze thought as she pushed herself higher toward the roof top. As she cleared the roof top, she saw the same man again. She wondered how he got up her so quickly, he didn't seem to have any wings that should see. 'Maybe some of his gear allows him to fly?' She thought, 'but that means...Luna is still down there.' As Breeze looked back down at the park, most of the trees were engulfed in flames, like a pond of fire within a concrete basket. The heat from the fire boiled the air, and the updraft caught Breeze's wings. They were already so exhausted from lack of use, that she couldn't do anything as the air flung her backwards on top of the man who was about to get to his feet.

Luna nods as she pays attention to Breeze explaining some of her past a bit. As Breeze asked her which way to go her ears twitched as she glances in the direction the sound came from. Though the silence didn't last long as a distant crash could be heard followed by the sound of two large speeding vehicles and a click. Luna's eyes shot to where she heard the first sound and quickly put herself between Breeze and the direction of the first sound just in time to take the brunt of a wave of fire and force. Seconds tick by feeling like hours as Luna desperately looks around the now burning landscape for Breeze, being unable to find her Luna quickly spins on the spot and body checks the door back to the hallway seemingly disappearing. She spins on the spot and closes the door. Putting her hand on it and closing her eyes she concentrates on the spark she gave Breeze. She knows she can find it. She HAS to find it. This WON'T happen again! A few moments pass before Luna's eyes shoot open and sends a pulse of energy down her arm blasting the door back open now on the roof just as Breeze is getting blown into the stranger. Giving Breeze a quick visual inspection and seeing that she's okay she turns her attention back to the stranger who blew himself up. "I would like an explanation. NOW." Luna says with anger. Looking over Luna's body reveals some strange information. There are burn marks all over her body that are slowly shrinking but the real strange thing are the open wounds all over her body that look like a light blue fire seeps from within. Behind her is another oddity as a hallway with pure white floors and walls with several doors on the other side lay behind her.

In borderline agony Archangel pulled his mostly scorched carcass toward the edge of the roof to survey the chaos below. As he lay there with blurring at the edge of his vision and an overall groggy demeanor he could finally breathe easier with the space he had made between himself and the strange women below. It was safer for everyone involved if he didn't have to get nasty after all. The roof was surprisingly dry for there having been a dew that morning; which was for the best as Archangel wasn't keen on stitching his wounds at this exact moment. He had picked this roof for it's seclusion, it was one of the few without any individuals or visible cameras on it; although on closer inspection he could see a camera sweeping mechanically back an forth out of the corner of his eye. 'Of course. Every square meter of this place is under constant surveillance,' he thought to himself as he enjoyed not being in the center of an explosion anymore. A subtle flapping noise broke his stupor; like a distant bird gently winging into the air. Not trusting his ringing ears he decided to use his eyes instead as he saw a flying wolf hovering above the burning park coming towards him. 'Crap I didn't mean to catch the entire park on fire. Oh well just means new growth for the area,' he thought to himself as the strange humanoid lupine creature came closer. Looking closer at the creature he realized she wasn't a Fera at all; for not even the Metis would look so frail. Archangel remembered hearing that shapeshifters existed in this realm as well, but were rare outside of the natural habitat of their animal forms. Perhaps they were some type of spirits or magicians? He had been told magic was more accepted in this realm as it was widely practiced by those who had some sort of Awakening; excited at first he was disappointed to be corrected that these "Awakened" mages were still sleepers. He shook the miscellaneous thoughts from his mind as the lupine creature was flapping ever closer. Still not keen on conversing with a strange, and possibly dangerous, creature in the middle of a firefight he decided another get away was in order. Telepathically communicating with the spirit bound to his keys the spirit flipped his routines out into his pocket and replaced them with two new ones. The gauntlets on his arms began to softly glow as his wounds healed, his physical form faded into the spirit world and he created a vaguely humanoid pile of vegetation to take his physical place. He chuckled to himself as the lupine creature seemed to collapse from exhaustion on the vaguely humanoid outline of moss. He was going to float back up to speak to the lupine creature when he detected a flux in the magic aura; some sort of portal given how the aura was flexing. Knowing better than to stand near an opening portal that he wasn't controlling Archangel decided instead to float away from the potentially dangerous hole in the Gauntlet. As he floated away the vulpine creature recklessly tore a hole in reality and began accosting the plant doppleganger. Content to not be on the other end of whatever she was shouting about he floated back towards the street to check in on the car chase.

Hohiro was expecting the garage explosion. Anyone who lived in Seattle became accustom to them during their lives here. He even had a bit of forewarning for this one. His part in the mission was over. He just needed to get away himself. And that would be easy, since there was nothing to tie him to this crime. At least, there shouldn't have been. What he did not expect, was the reaction of the three he had flagged as suspicious. The creepy man dodged into a bush, which exploded in fire and light a minute later. One of the strangers stepped between the dual explosions and their counterpart.... who just SPROUTED WINGS??? A part of Hohiro's mind raced as he tried to figure out if there was a new metahuman type that he hadn't been told about, or if they had just accidentally interrupted a dragon's stroll through the park. "Drek. JUST what we need right now. To anger a dragon. Drek, drek, drek, drek, drek..." The rest of his mind continued to watch the cams, as the one with wings took off into the air, and the other simply vanished from existence. Hurriedly, he switched between all available cams in the area as he dropped out of the tree and took off at a run to avoid getting caught up in the massive fire now engulfing the park. He managed to find the flying dragon....that was shaped like a wolf?? And the man who had dodged into the bush earlier was up on the same roof. A moment later, the one who disappeared from the park appeared on the roof and the man turned into a bush. "There are not enough nuyen in this entire country for me to get involved in this crazy horsedrek..." Hohiro thought glumly. Things that can fly, wolves that can just teleport without shamanistic chants, and people just turning into plantlife was too much to handle while fleeing for your life from a conflagration. Well..... At least if I die to this fire, Security can't lock me up for the heist.... Why didn't I pay attention to the horoscopes today?

Breeze had prepared herself to land on something hard, like concrete or metal, but instead was pleasantly surprised to find herself landing on a cushy bush. Sure it scratched at her a little, but that was nothing compared to the pain she'd experienced in the past, and the scratches healed quickly enough. Rolling out of the bush and stumbling to her feet, Breeze folded in her very tired wings. It'd been a long time since they'd had a good stretch like that, and the buffeting of the heat didn't make it any better.
Without warning, Luna appeared in front of Breeze, anger written over her face. "I would like an explanation. NOW."
At Luna's request Breeze looked around for the man, but didn't see anyone on the roof top. "I uh," Breeze said cautiously, "My wings kind of took over?" She said a bit sheepishly to Luna, figuring that she must be talking to her since there was no one else up there. "Also do the worlds that you choose always end up being this exciting right off the bat? Or is this something new? Like I think I actually hallucinated a man here, instead of the bush growing out of this roof," She sort of chuckled as she got controlling over her breathing again. She wasn't aware that she'd been panting between sentences.
